Modulate Recordings is an italian independent record label specialised in Drum & Bass and Electronic music, established in 2003 by Spiko, EleMod, and Dj Raid.

From 2003 to 2006 we released 8 vinyls distributed by the UK-based Nu Urban and St Holdings. Modulate Recordings was one of the first labels to recognize the importance of online sales, thus opening, in 2006, an account with online shops Beatport and Junodownload, (keeping at today a direct deal with them), ranked many times on Top 100 Drum & Bass Chart of both stores.

Modulate Recordings represents at today one of the most important realities of the Italian and European neurofunk scene, were producers like Maztek, Bowsar, Aeph, Dabs, Jazzatron, Nickbee, Hallucinator have taken their first steps. Alongside the constant search of new talents, Modulate Recordings has also worked together with known musicians such as Silent Witness, N.Phect, The Host, DatA, Dose. Pledging to spread Drum & Bass in Italy it become an integral part of the most important Italian scenes, the Bolognese one, either by label itself or through gigs, hosting producers of international fame as Andy C, Calyx & Teebee, Noisia, Klute, D_Bridge, Fierce, Goldie, Storm, Pendulum and many many others!

Modulate Recordings was the only Drum & Bass label in Italy having actively participated and involved for 3 consecutive years (between 2003 and 2006) to Arezzo Wave, the most important electronic music festival in Italy for that years.
